Start with your space
Measure width, depth and height in centimetres. Mark the footprint with tape, accounting for doors, windows and sockets.
Check the delivery route
Measure the narrowest doorways, corridors, stairs and lift access, including turns. Compare with packaged dimensions where available.
Sofas & tables
Check overall width, depth and height. Allow room to walk, pull out chairs and fully extend reclining seats.
Beds & mattresses
Check the external bed-frame dimensions and required mattress dimensions separately. King and queen labels can vary between products.
Wardrobes & storage
Measure ceiling clearance and depth with doors or drawers open. Check assembly and anchoring requirements.
Rugs
Tape out the rug size and check furniture-leg placement and door clearance. Confirm measurement units before ordering.
